Jul. 20, 1953 - Coloured Photos on Stone.: Professor Kleinschmidt, teacher at the high school for art in Berlin, brought out an invention which took him and his collaborators 5 years and which is quite a sensation in the field of photo and publicity technics. Huge photos on stone! The photos do not react to heat, cold, snow or rain. They are made the following way: eternit-plate sensitive to light a size 120 to 150 centimeters are exposed to the light in the dark room as with normal enlarging. The stone photos may be produced in black and white or in colours. It is quite obvious that this process bears quite new possibilities for publicity. Photo shows Professor Kleinschmidt before his first stone-photo which is made in four colours
