May 03, 1954 - One Man painting exhibition: A one man exhibition of paintings by Cyril J. Ross, opened today at the Royal Institute Galleries. 62 year old Mr. Ross is a spare time painter on weekdays he is the chairman and managing director of Swears and Wells. There are 258 pictures on show, and all but one a portrait of his wife are to be sold to raise money for charities for the blind and for the Victory (Ex-Services) New Memorial hall.
