1956 - Open-Air Display of Paintings I Victoria Embankment Gardens: the annual open-air display of paintings organized by the L.C.C. was held once again i the Victoria Embankment Gardens this morning. The display is held to help artists who cannot normally afford to exhibit their work to earn their living.
