1956 - Open-Air Display of Paintings I Victoria Embankment Gardens: the annual open-air display of paintings organized by the L.C.C. was held once again i the Victoria Embankment Gardens this morning. The display is held to help artists who cannot normally afford to exhibit their work to earn their living. Photo shows Mrs. Anne Bulitis, of Hampstead, smokes a pipe as he relaxes on a seat with other artists while awaiting customers this morning
