Oct. 10, 1956 - Exhibition in honor of Picasso's 75th Birthday: The celebrated artist Picasso is 75 today, and to celebrate the occasion, Roland Penrose, a close friend of Picasso's has arranged an exhibition which opens at the Institute of Contemprorary Arts tomorrow. Called Picasso, himself the exhibition reveals Picasso through the eyes of his friend and as he sees himself. Roland Penrose has collected personal portraits, self portraits, letters, photographs, including no less than 30 original works by Picasso himself.
