Jun. 06, 1956 - 15th. Century Mural To Be Seen At The Tower: Two first floor rooms at the Byward Tower, Tower of London, will be opened to the public from Monday, July 2nd. The rooms contain the machinery for the Byard Tower portucllis and a fine 16th. Century timber screen, but the most interesting feature is a 15th century mural painting of the Cruififxion which was discovered in1953. Photo Shows: Chief Yeoman Warder Allan C.
