Feb. 02, 1957 - Dr. Eduard de Pomiane, a well known Paris personality whose hitherto known hobby was gastronomy has made public another unknown hobby, which is painting. As he was celebrating his 82nd birthday yesterday he showed to his friends no fewer than 200 water colors he has been painting for years. These paintings will shortly be shown in a Paris art gallery. Attending the birthday party were some of his artists friends disguised as famous painters of the past. Photo shows standing from left to right: S. Abrys (as Leonardo da Vinci), Paul Colin (as El Greco), Touchagues (as Goya) Brenot (as Fragonard) and Leville (as Chardin). Seated: Simon Hurtel (as sculpto under Louis XIV), Dr. de Pomiane and Regis Manset (as Toulouse Leutrec)
