Antiques - Art - Ceramics - Murals - Paint

Dec. 12, 1956 - Nice customs in the ancient China: When in ancient times a Chinese presented a horse as a gift to someone he had to give also a man with the horse, who had to take care of the horse. The custom was used in the years about 618 after the birth of Christ. The man who had to take care of the horse was called Mafu. Such told us the young lady in the Kimono at the German Art and Antiquities exhibition just being held at the Haus der Kunst in Munich. On the picture you see a plastic from the time of the T'ang dynasty about 618 - 960 after Christ's birth, called Horse with Mafu
