Dec. 31, 1956 - Monalisa Painting Damaged by Mad Bolivian Hugo Unzaga Villegas, a penniless Bolivian who was expelled from France, threw a stone at the famous painting of Leonardo De Vince while visiting the Louvre Museum this morning. The stone hit the elbow of Monalisa which was damaged. The painting has been removed from the Museum for restoration
