Sold For £2, 100 Hudson Bay Indians - By Cornelius Krieghoff: Mrs. Evelyn Bartlett of Torrington, Devon - bought a painting for 1/6d. at a wartime jumble sale. It hung in her home for 18 years until it was discovered that it was by the nineteenth century artist Cornelius Krieghof. It was sold today at Sotheby's for (Illegible) £2, 100. Photo shows The scene as Mr. Peter Wilson the anc accepts the bid of £2, 100 for the painting - at Sotheby's this afternoon
