May 05, 1959 - Cars as children see them More than 2000 paintings from the whole Federal Republic of Germany already arrived for the painting contest Children draw cars, held by the Munich publishing house Man and Work (Mensch und Arbeit) together with the Daimler-Benz AG. All children from 6 to 17 may participate at this contest. It is not necessary that only one child painted the picture, but it must not be imitated from a placard or something similar. The best ones out of these paintings will be shown in an exhibition, and then the Association of German Art Teacher will get them. The 12 best young artists are allowed to tour Europe and apart from that there are 300 other prizes. O.p.s:- A young girl in the Munich painting studio of the International Youth Library at the work.
