Nov. 11, 1959 - Paul Cezanne Painting fetches 145, 000..Auction of works of Art at Sotheby's: A number of impressionist paintings were sold by auction today at Sotheby's - chief of them being a painting by Paul Cezanne entitled Paysan en Blouse Bleue - the property of Mrs. T.G. Kenefick, of Buffalo, New York. This painting had been given to Mrs. Kenefick by her father 82 year old American industrialist and art collector Mr. A. Conger Goodyear. Also sold today at the auction was Te Tial Na Ve Te Rats - a painting by Paul Gauguin - property of Mr. George Goodyear (brother of Mrs. Kenefick). This was a gift to George Goodyear - from his father - it fetched 130, 000. Photo Shows The scene during the sale of Paul Cezanne's painting Peasant in a Blue Blouse - for 145, 000 today
