Sep. 21, 1959 - 75, 000 Masterpiece gets a face lift Ruben's Adoration of the Magi': Mr. Leonard Koetser the Mayfair art dealer who made the world record shattering bid of 75, 000 for Ruben's Adoration of the Magi at Sotheby's, last July - has started work on cleaning the painting. The work is being carried out in the alleyway entrance to a Felham Depository by Mr. Koetser and his assistant Mr. Reeve.
