Feb. 25 The writings on the wall. 71-year old Herbert Thorpe, of Meltham, Yorks, is not on very good terms with his neighbors because he persists in writing slogans on his wall, so much so that they have taken him to court. The magistrates at Huddersfield fined him, and liable to a fine of per day as long as the writings remain.Herbert throne is still refusing to erase the writings, instead, he has added more. photo shows brush in hand, Mr. Herbert Northrop gets ready to add more slogans to the wall
