Designed and executed by Mr. Omar Randene. There are nearly 400 stones worked into the design. These, together with the gold were collected together by Fr. J.L.Dove, given by numerous benefactors out of love for the Mother of God. The principal decorative features consist of the star and Fleur-de-lys. The solid band of the crown is the River of life flowing between pearls and coloured precious stones.The Symbolic colouring resolves itself into gold for the earth, pearls and diamonds for purity and blue for heaven
