Feb. 29 Royal wedding mugs.... As a rather special treat, the children and villagers of Great Somerford are having commemorative mugs made to celebrate the wedding of their famous resident, captain Mark Phillips. After submitting six different designs, art teacher Mr. Tony Fursman (43) of Minety, Wiltshire was given the go ahead from the Great Little Somerford council. Each person will have their name embossed on the mugs and the task of collecting them all has fallen on Mr. Furzman's wife Ivy. In all 450 mugs will be thrown
