Mar. 27 The charge of the light Brigade brings world acclain! There's still some pride left. British battle scenes, depicted on bone china and costing 100 each, are best sellers at a new London gallery which has opened in Ryder Street. Michael Sutty is the man behind the whole operation. The pieces are made at his studios in Knockholt in kent, and it takes two months to make one piece. Mr Sutty does a great deal of research for his battle scenes and when he produced a scene from the battle of Waterloo he went as far as tracing descendants of people who actually fought in the battle! Mr. Sutty says there's not very much clear these days, so people take pride in spending money on past glories'.He has also recently opened up a new factory in Stoke and has employed some of the finest craftsmen in the area. Mr. Sutty is also now acknowledged as probably England's finest bone china producer.. His studio in an old barn, houses six workers at Knockholt, but he employs a larger number of people at the Stokeon Trent factory
