Feb. 28 Artist George Petty, Creator of the famed Esquire Petty Girl featured in the 1956 Esquire calendar, finds trans World Airlines hostess Lyda Carr a suitable subject for a quick sketch. Miss Carr, a resident of Forest Hills, N.Y. casts a critical eye on the artist's handiwork after his arrival from his home in Scottsdale, Ariz. Petty, who lets no greenery grow beneath his brogans, is in New York to get started with Esquire Magazine on the 1957 calendar
