Mar. 27 Artworks On Top Of The Roof Of The World': To make the most durable works of art was the intention of Herbert Finster (a well-known Bavarian painter) and Kurt Diemberger (picture, no less famous as mountaineer, cameraman and art with the majesty of nature. So he charged his friend Diemberger (who up to now ascended five eight-thousanders, among them two as first ascents and all of them without oxygen-mask) to take along with himself 4 gold-collages, when starting a new expedition to the Mount Everest on August 8th, 1980.The collages, which are fixed in most durable polyester shall be dug into the snow of the summit of the Mount Everest (8848 m), which such will become the world's highest gallery with the fewest visitors. The artworks of Herbert Finster are named: Bittender, Am Rand der Wuste, Tal der Konige and Metamorphose
