Che: The portrait and its photographer On the 6th of March 1960, Alberto Korda, a young Cuban photographer, shot a picture that in the meantime has become world-famous, the portrait of Che Guevara. He got the revolutionary on his film while taking pictures during obsequies for the victims of an accident in Havana.
