Jun. 06, 1961 - Masters around Albrecht Durer : The exhibition Masters around Albrecht Durer is probably the most important art-historical exhibition in Nuremberg since the Durer - exhibition in 1928. It is held from July 4th till Sept. 17th in the German National Museum in Nuremberg, and it will show more than 100 pieces of art lent by museums and world -famous collections. For the first time after the war, also Poland has lent paintings. Three boxes with seven paintings of Nuremberg masters of the time of Albrecht Durer arrived in Nuremberg coming from the national museum in Warsaw and Cracow.
