Feb. 02, 1962 - Stuttgart gallery bought a Rembrandt but is it genuine?: The Hungarian art expert Martin (Porka Martin Porkay) - our picture - (he lives in Munich) says that the painting is not more than 55 years old - after having seen it without frame and glass. Although the National Gallery of Stuttgart (West Germany) assure that they had the painting they payed 3.6 million D-Marks for it examined by Rembrandt specialists, Porkay still keeps to his opinion that the Rembrandt (a self portrait) is false. Porkay, is not very much liked by the owners of art galleries because he often discovers that paintings are not genuine
