Jun. 06, 1960 - Old and new glass paintings and mosaiks: The first exhibtion due to the Eucharistic World Congress (July 31st to August 7th 1960) was opened in Munich on June 8th, 1960. At the Franz-Mayer-Gallery one can admire original works and very good copies which explain the development of glasspainting over centuries. Very interesting for the Munich visitor is the window Anna Selbdritt (Anna Selbdritt) which was painted in 1518 by the Munich glass painter Jakob Kistenfiger by order of the third dean of the Munich dome. It endured all difficulties of the past centuries and came to the Cooper-Union-Museum of New York in 1923. It is now hoped that Anna Selbdritt will be bought again fro the Munich cathedral
