Feb. 02, 1961 - Greek Painter (Self-styled Spanish Prince) Charged With Forgery: A Complaint Lodged by Bernard Buffet led the police to the discovery of a great number of faker bearing the names of some famous painters. The Author of most is the fakes is a Greek Painter Georges Cohene who claims Royal Descent (he calls himself Prince Jorge Carlos Bourbon Ans Comnenem Duke of Santiago and Madrid Spanish Pretender). Imitator of great talent he claims he never signed his fakes and puts all the blame on unscrupulous dealers. Photo shows Georges Cohnene pictured in his Paris home with some of his paintings
