1964 - The Self-Burning Painter: Painter Leonid Fridman will present his latest work starting next April 1 22 at the Atelier Matignon to Herald his show. He decided to burn all his paintings which displeased him and did not correspond to his present conception the police in prefect forbade the Autodafe and Fridman went in the gardin of the Moulin De La Galette with a saw and a knife and consciously destroyed many of his paintings.
