Nov. 11, 1960 - Rolling-pin painter Keith is a big hit: Schoolboy Keith Wilson (Keith Wilson) borrowed an old bed sheet from his mother, dipped a rolling pin in black paint, and smeared it across the canvass'. He said Suddenly - a face emerged - I painted it in and that was that'. The result was exhibited with more than 200 paintings by other Leads children. Ukranian-born artist Jacob Kramer (Jacob Kramer) judged the entries - and much to 16-year-old Keith's surprise - his painting was awarded first prize: 10 Pounds. Photo shows Keith Wilson (16) demonstrates his rolling - pin technique at the art show at Leeds
