Oct. 10, 1964 - This bronze-relief: 1, 2 tons heavy and more than nine square metres large, produce by the artist Professor Jurgen Weber (Jurgen Weber) for the front of the new town-hall in Gottingen, now is a stumbling-block. The artist created a modern figurative description of the human in the community with following different phases: the single human, the couple, the group and the mass. The work is named The town'. The citizens of Gottingen are scandalized by the couple, which shows the artist naked and in intimate embrace. The end of the culture-war in Gottingen is no in sight. At present the citizen, if contrary to the work of art or on behalf of it, are going like on a pilgrinmage to the town-hall, in order to satisfy themself about the moral or immoral
