Dec. 12, 1962 - The Duke of Norfolk's tapestries are sold at Christies: A set of seven panels of Soho Tapestry, variously woven in colours with subjects from Ovid's Metamorphoses, the property of the Duke of Norflok, were auctioned at Christies today. They were sold for 1, 400 gineas to Mr. C. John. Photo shows one of the tapestries is held up for inspection during the auction this morning at Christies
