Jul. 07, 1963 - Ward Rushed to Hospital: This morning the case in which society osteopath Stephen Ward is accused of vice offenses, took yet another dramatic turn when Ward was found in bed suffering from an overdose of drugs and was rushed to St. Stephen's Hospital. It is reported that two letters were found by his bedside. Meanwhile at the Old Bailey, the judge is continuing his summing-up of case in Ward's absence.
