1967 - Picasso Sold For World Record Price: A world record price of190, 000 was paid in London yesterday for a painting by Picasso. The picture, of a mother standing by the sea with a child in her arms, will go to America. Mr. David Mann, head of New York's Bodley Gallery, flew over specially for the sale.
