May 05, 1967 - Five year old visits the Royal Academy to see his painting: This season's attraction at the Royal Academy is a painting by a five year old, which is among the works accepted this year. The boy, Lewis Lyons, was three when he painted his water color trees and monkeys, which now hangs in the Academy, after a visit to the Zoo, His father, Mr. Claude Lyons, 72, of Hampstead, has rejected an offer of 500 gns for the painting. Today young Lewis went to the Academy for the first time to see his painting. Photo shows little five year old Lewis Lyons, stands by his painting as he faces the cine cameras at the Royal Academy today
