May 05, 1967 - Five-Year-Old Visits The Royal Academy To See His Painting: This season's attraction at the Royal Academy is a painting by a five-year old, which is among the works accepted this year. The boy, Lewis Lyons, was three when he painted his water colour Trees and Monkeys, which now hangs in the Academy, after a visit to the zoo. His father, Mr. Claude Lyons, 72, of Hapstead, has rejected an offer of 500 gns for the painting. Today, young Lewis went to the Academy for the first time to see his painting.
