Sep. 09, 1968 - Parliamentary history was being remade at the Ministry of Public Building and works carvers depot at Victoria yesterday, as craftsmen worked on reproductions of stone statuettes of kings and queens removed from the Houses of Parliament during restoration. Fourteen statuettes in Anston stone are among 50 weather beaten pieces which are to be sold through tender individually or in small lots. The reproductions in Clipsham stone will be installed on the south front of the Palace of Westminster
