Mar. 03, 1967 - We Don't Wear Clothes For Fun'.: A unique event occurred today at the Jacey Cinema, Piccadilly, when the models of the world famous photographer of the nude, - Jean Straker, went to the cinema to see themselves on the screen, where they play an important role in the shock British documentary The Mystery And The Pleasure'. What gave an added piquancy to their visit was that they were also seeing the other film in the programme, the sensational Topless Story'; this film deals with the search of a New York fashion designer to dream up a gimmick to sell revealing swim suits and his adventures throughout the world, photographing beautiful scantily clad girls. Jean Straker's models, who are rightly proud of their nude appearance in The Mystery And The Pleasure were most anxious to see how they compare with the nude beauties in The Topless Story'. The motto of the girls in We don't wear clothes for fun and they would have liked to have been present in the nude. It was felt that this was a little impracticable and they were persuaded to compromise and wear the latest see through dresses. Photo shows A passer-by looks on in wonder as Jean Straker lies down to get an unusual angle of his models - outside the Jacey Cinema today
