Jan. 31, 1969 - Plemish Artist Launches Flying Saucers: 73-year-old Flemish Painter Frans De Geetere 10 now launching a new kind of Flying saucers of his invention. The painter's saucer is a 50 centimetre polyester Disco which can fly as high as 1.000 metres. The artist inventor hopes to make a hit with seaside holiday makers next summer.
