May 05, 1971 - Modern art museum Munich gets new Rooms a plastic hall: Recently a plastic hall (38 yds long) has been erected on the grounds of the former New Pinakothek were the modern art shall be shown temporarily until the new museum will be finished at the end of this year or in the beginning of next year. The tent has two entrances and in the middle a dome shaped room (diameter 16 and 7yds high - to be seen on the photo -). On the opening of the modern art on May 6th, 1971, the new name for the Modern Art Museum Munich, the Raysse Country can be visited. Martial Raysse, one of the most known French New Realists, shows his work a kind of mini Sahara with sand, palm tree and sunshine
