1971 - PRISONER IN JAIL PAINTS A GIRL HE LOVED AND LOST: A long term prisoner yesterday finished a gaint mural he has painted in jail. It shows the prisoner himself-and the girl he loved and lost. The painting, in Albany Prison on the Isle of Wight, is on a wall near the jail dining room. Prison governor Mr. Togfryn Davies said yesterday that only people who know the prisoner well would be able to recognise him from the painting.
