Jul. 07, 1976 - AN EXHIBITION OF PAINTING AND PRINTS AS PART OF THE CAMPAIGN TO SAVE CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL: As part of the campaign to save Canterbury Cathedral, an exhibition of paintings and prints is to be held in the chapter house at the Cathedral. The artists, John Doyle and Graham Clarke, are to donate a percentage of the proceeds from sales to the £3 1/2 million appeal which now stands at more than £2 million. Today a preview of the exhibition was held at Lambeth Palace. The exhibition in the Chapter House at Canterbury Cathedral will be show from July 25th to Sept, 3rd.
