Feb. 02, 1957 - Chair is Able to become Table: Shown at a recent furniture exhibit in London was a tubular steel chair that can be opened out to become a table. The Chairs can be used singly or Four placed together can make a card or dining table. Seat and back are covered in a heat-resisting, washable plastic cloth over from rubber padding. Picture Shows: Miss jean Wright (left) has tea from the 17*12 in. table, while Miss Suzanne Bradghaw shows how the chair's back is lifted upward on a Swivel-pin action to form the table.
