This 7.5-cubic-foot-capacity dryer features an electronic moisture sensor which gauges the correct degree of dryness in each load and shuts the dryer off automatically. Available in both ga (DLL3900) and electric (DLB3900) models, this new jumbo dryer can easily handle a full 16-pound laundry load, and reduces the ironing of permanent press clothing to a minimum since its big capacity reduces crowding together of clothes which cause wrinkles to set. A special cool-down cycle following drying also helps to minimize wrinkle formation, and the model has an end-of-cycle signal so garments can be removed promptly before their own weight wrinkles them. Although large in capacity, this Hotpoint heavy-duty dryer has the same exterior dimensions as some models with much smaller capacity - 31 inches wide by 28 inches deep - to simplify laundry room installation
