Apprentice Geishas in parade through Tokyo

Two little Maiko (apprentice Geishas) during the parade through Tokyo. They wear elaborate wigs and very colourful kimonos. Their eris or collars are coloured too. When they have graduated as Geishas they will have white eris'. Girls who show the necessary talent become Maikos between the age of 12 to 16, but many start training as young as 10
