Arabs questioned after car explosion in Jerusalem market
Nov. 11, 1968 - Explosion Kills Eleven And Injuries Fifty-Five In Jerusalem Market: A car loaded with dynamite exploded in a Jewish market in Jerusalem yesterday, killing 11 and injuring 55, 18 of them seriously. The police said they had detained 500 Arabs for interrogation. The terrorists chose a Friday for their attack, it is thought, because the market is then crowded with thousands of eve of Sabbath shoppers.
