Jan. 11, 1958 - Rare Hunter's Luck:wig-stag Shot: The Vine-dresser Alfred Wilbert (Wilbert), 19 years of age, from Stromberg/Hunsruck at one of thesesdayshad unbelievable hunter;s luck shooting for the first time in the Soonwald, he shot out of many stags a so-called wig-stag. The rare animal was about 12-14 years old and was weighing, broken out about 225 pounds. Since the end of war they didn't see such an animal in the shooting grounds of Rheinland-Pfalz.
