Archery - Fishing - Hunting - Skeet Shooting - Trapping

Dec. 12, 1962 - The Stag's Twice A Year Ordeal In Norwich; Twice a year the Norwich Staghounds hunt collects from a farm special carted deer which are half tame and therefor ideal for the type of work that the Hund Master, Colonel Brian Gooch has in mind. This is to use the deer as bait and run them to the point where the terrified animal ran go no further and takes refuge in some inaccessible place waiting for the ikll never comes. That is if Col. Gooch and his men can get to the scene quickly enough after the stag has been run to the scene quickly enough after the stag has been run to ground. Says Co. Gooch, I'm sure the deer enjoy the hunt as much as we do'. Photo Shows this deer went into an ice cold stream when it could go no further. Two of the members of the hunt hawl it out ready to send it back to the farm before it iis used again
