Aug. 09, 1948 - Ludwigshafen Germany; I.G. Farben plant building damaged in terrific blast two weeks ago, suffers futher destruction this time at the hands of U3 Army Engineers. Buildings dangerously near collapse were torn down to prevent additional casualties. Cables were attached to weakened structures, and bulldozers provided necessary impetus to bring them earthward
