Aug. 08, 1953 - Improving South German Electric Supply System. The world's biggest water out let pipe is presently being made in Offenbach/Main, South Germany. The quantities of water passing thru this pipe exceed the waters carried away by the Main River near Francfort. The pipe forks off at one point. The total weight is 165 (one hundred and sixty five) tons. 75 (seventy five) cubic metres per second rush thru each of the forked off pipes inside. This water outlet pipe has been designed and made for a South German Power Plant at the Lech River. Keystone Photo Shows: The World's biggest water outlet pipe
