Dec. 18, 1956 - I.R.A. Outrages in Northern Ireland:Police and Iriah Republican Army invaders fought gun battles - bombs were hurled at barracks and bridges and a B.B.C. station was blown up in raids in Northern Ireland recently. The raids were carried out in several places by the armed gunman using fire-bombs and explosives. At London derry the B.B.C's relay transmition stations was wrecked by explosives planted in the main control room. Photo shows View of the Magherfelt Courthouse, Co.
