Mar. 03, 1958 - Ideal Homes Exhibitionopens at Olympia. The German made Roof House. One of the most interesting items at the Ideal Homes Exhibition which opened at Olympia today-is the Roof House'. It is of German Construction and in the first instance roof is constructed on the ground - and in its shelter are constructed three bedrooms -a living room - kitchen - dining room and bathroom. when finances permit a ground floor is constructed to make a two-storeyed house. The roof section is then hoisted on top of this new section. Photo shows Inside the double-bedroom of the Roof House -at olympia today
