Jul. 07, 1958 - American Village constructed at Tring Park for film. Scenery cathes fire: The American village of Westerbridge has been reconstructed at Tring Park, Herts - for the Bernard Shaw satire on the American War of Independence The Devil's Disciple shooting of which started today. A fire which formed part of the scene in the village in got out of hand and set fire to the scenery today. It was extinguished before too much damage was caused. Photo shows some of the stage hands and extras set too and put out the fire today
