Jan. 01, 1958 - House Sandwiched Between Huge Office Blocks On Thames Embankment: Sandwiched between two 110 ft. high office blocks on the Albert Embankment - is a tiny house - owned by the family business of John Pinches (Medallists) Ltd. The house protrudes 10 feet in front of its huge neighbours - on to the Embankment. It has now been sold - and in May will be demolished to make way for extensions to the office blocks.
