Aug. 13, 1959 - 13.8.59 New upholstery fabric A press reception was held at the Connaught Rooms, today to launch a new upholstery fabric called Lyflon, which wears about five times longer than an average quality furnishing fabric, and from which all marks and stains can be wiped away with just a damp cloth. The new fabric is woven from synthetic fibres.
